PUNTA DELLA VIPERA

PUNTA DELLA VIPERA
A rural sanctuary, on the boundary of Caere and Tarquinia, dedicated to Menrva, built during the second half of the sixth century (540 to 520 BC). There is an obscure but lengthy inscription of 80 words dating to the late sixth century. Votive deposits include representations of Menrva and anatomical models suggesting a healing cult.
